The federal Liberal s, Conservative s, and New Democrats will use the government’s recently tabled electoral reform bill to argue for an adjournment of a coming court date that could have big implications for the way political parties use voters’ data when campaigning and fundraising.
After three delays, complainants want to move forward However, in an April 5 response to the Liberal Party application, the original complainants argue that the April 22 trial should go ahead. Their response notes a series of delays that have already taken place. This included two deferrals over a shortage of judges.
