Watch LewisBlissett's new music video for KillingButterflies
It's easy to say that someone as young as 15 years old doesn't have a mature understanding of heartbreak. But then again,On Thursday , Blissett dropped his new music video for "Killing Butterflies." The trance-pop track sees the young singer taking a dark stance on the nature of lost love, hypothosizing that like wings, hearts are "meant to be torn apart." He takes it a step further in his next lyric: "Faith, hope, some things are meant to be gone broke.
In the new video, one of his first ever videos for an original song, Blissett takes viewers on a PC Music-inspired trip, with lo-fi apparitions of himself sporadically appearing throughout a bleeding multicolored landscape. By the end of the video, he's multiplied into an army of himself, each singing about wanting to "stay up all night killing butterflies.".
