Opinion: Increasing density by adding 'missing middle' housing will not provide affordable housing. People who cannot afford a single-family house cannot afford this new housing type either.

The government’s plan to increase density across the province is just a news release to make it appear that they are doing something. They have provided no evidence to refute the on-the-ground unaffordable experience in Vancouver.the government should be focusing on ways to remove this speculation from the marketplace so those who actually want to live and work here are able to do so.Re: Future uncertain for unique B.C.

Perhaps the shortage of medical service providers will finally create the pressure needed for our health system to embrace DNA testing as an easily accessed diagnostic tool.
