The Inflation Reduction Act offers homeowners a variety of ways to help with that battle. For example, it offers 30% tax credits up to $1,200 per year for energy efficiency improvements. These will reduce the immediate cost yet bring an immediate increase in home value.
NRA officials seem to care nothing for the lives lost to gun violence. What’s even worse is how our leaders pander to them. The NRA and our leaders always only say, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.” If Dallas County’s computers can’t even get people’s hours and wages straight, just imagine what is doing to their long-term work records such as pensions and Social Security. This kind of mess is a concern to everybody because computers are handling everything nowadays. The county workers need to organize, and the rest of us need to support them.Re: “Ruling sides with designer — Refusing to create sites for same-sex weddings judged as protected right,” July 1 news story.
Knowing that history is filled with a heinous disgust for the other grounded in so-called religious convictions, the court should have stated emphatically where we should stand on this long, slippery slope. Where is the line between bigoted but permissible speech and damaging behavior?
