Now messages on the VAC website get a standard automated response that tells veterans to contact a VAC contractor directly to discuss benefits or for any question they may have. What really matters to the contractor is the bottom line; the welfare of veterans is irrelevant. The lack of interface between VAC and the veterans is obviously causing despair to many who then contemplate suicide.
