In the SaltWire editorial of May 18, we asked for suggestions for renaming Victoria Day. Here are some of your responses. Additional responses can be sent to [email protected] have a suggestion for renaming Victoria Day. Since May 24 is Bob Dylan's birthday why not call it what I have always called it?"Dylan Day." I know, I know. Dylan isn't Canadian, but neither was Queen Victoria. And I'm sure we in Canada feel much closer to Bob Dylan than to the English crown.
