I watched with great interest the complete testimony of Jody Wilson-Raybould and could not have been more impressed with her honesty and integrity. While I am not a Liberal, if she were to run for prime minister, I might change the way I vote.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been trapped between a rock and a hard place. His attempts to influence the decision of then-attorney-general Jody Wilson-Raybould in the SNC-Lavalin criminal case, while seemingly pushing the boundaries of ethical behaviour, have cast him in the public eye as a manipulative schemer, if not a bully. But SNC-Lavalin is one of Canada’s largest companies of its type, employing thousands.

It seems highly unlikely that the original Globe and Mail article that broke this story could have been published without the source of the piece receiving approval, if not direction, from Wilson-Raybould herself. I suspect this has more to do with her career ambitions rather than her public assertions that multiple players in government acted “inappropriately” with her. Here’s a solutionI believe a good solution to the location of the statue of Sir John A.
