Paid more than their share

I am a pack-a-day smoker. I have been for MANY years and accept the risks involved. For most of my 60-plus years of life I, like millions of other smokers, have paid full price for my cigarettes. As far as I am concerned I have paid tens of thousands of dollars in extra taxes that non-smokers haven’t and yet I am vilified as a scourge on the health-care system.
