Madiba Dennie of The Atlantic read the same federal appeals court article and agreed with Ruth Marcus. Dennie’s article appeared in The Atlantic, “Originalism Is Going to Get Women Killed.” It should not be understood as an effort to undo the Second Amendment but as a way to make it a useful and guiding tool as we build a safer and happier way of life.
I would make the argument that they’re plenty of jobs for these young folks now and that’s fueling this trend of not attending college. They’re getting higher pay, but not enough to support themselves over time. My two kids got their degrees and now make more than $130,000 a year. My son has student loan debt and just about has it paid off. He’s 36.
