I have nothing but respect for Tamara Lich, one of the chief organizers of the convoy protest. Here is a woman who sacrificed her own personal freedoms so that Canadians could see how authoritarian Justin Trudeau and his political cohorts were during the pandemic with the compliance of the majority of the mainstream press.

The arrogance of the PM in refusing to lower himself to meet with Lich and her fellow organizers only increased the truckers’ resolve and made them dig in their heels. The outrageous treatment by law enforcement in the way they took down the protesters has permanently left a sour taste in my mouth. Make no mistake about it, she will be demonized by most of the media, the elitist crowd in “spoiled rotten” Bytown, and judging from recent history the justice system may not be too kind to her, either.Trumped up charges

I would like to remind all Canadians that the trial of Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, now on in an Ottawa court and expected to last longer than the convoy protest, should not have been necessary. If our cowardly prime minister and his inept cabinet had not shunned the protesters, it would have been over quickly. Instead, they declared their views “unacceptable” and refused to converse with them. Thus, the politicians provoked the long and peaceful protest, causing the trumped-up charges to be brought.
