As most of us are aware, food prices, energy, and housing costs are continually rising, and it is becoming more difficult to determine how to best meet your family’s needs. As tough as it may be — if you’re in a position to meet those needs, you are very blessed — in comparison to others - perhaps even compared to your own friends, neighbours and family.
One in five Canadians report going hungry. Twenty-three percent report eating less because they don’t have enough money to eat the amount of healthy food they need due to shelter, energy and medical costs.
