Yes, I admit that today the workload as a serving city council member is heavy, but in all reality it’s not a job that comes with sick leave benefits. You made a conscious decision to serve your community on a municipal council; you do get paid extremely well for this service, but you are not qualified for nor should you even have the nerve to ask for such sick and paid leave benefits.Article content
When you are not at your council desk, your community will not have your service. So if you cannot serve, you should not be there. I would not support this motion.
