So why don't we deal with them similarly? Fish harvesters know and understand the vagaries of the marketplace very well, and they will accept and adapt to its movements. What they will not accept are laws and policies that manipulate the market for the advantage of the"middleman," to the disadvantage of both the primary producer and the consumer.
