After months of pointless and childish squabbling, council’s ineptitude was on full display again last week when they were finally faced with a real issue and had to make a real choice – in this case, affordable housing funding. The result? Council made a bad decision. If only we had better processes and communications went the cry from council. What a community we could be.
Doing nothing is apparently better than something, even if it means penalizing the entire municipality.
