Sweet and Spicy: what's the buzz on honey infusions? | SaltWireAs a taxpayer in this province, I find the environmental assessment published by World Energy GH2 - Project Nujio'qonik on Aug. 22, 2023 very alarming.

It has completely failed to identify the negative effects of the project on the 4,600 people who live on the Port au Port Peninsula and does not seem to refer at all to the Codroy Valley, which was not mentioned in the project from the beginning. This environmental assessment is a sham and part of a shameful, undemocratic process on the part of this Liberal government.

This environmental assessment is only a box to be ticked in the rush to get this project sanctioned. It should be an environmental protection assessment, so that this very dangerous and ill-considered project could not go ahead without proper expert oversight and democratic input and study.
