Blame Hamas perhaps indeed; however, is the problem solved when you become just like Hamas yourself?
This is in response to Mark Desinger’s recent letter. Many years ago, I worked for a gentleman named Mr. C.R. Lewis. One morning a visitor came in to see Mr. Lewis. He arrived swearing.
I shall refrain from the exact words. ‘Who the heck owns that Japanese piece of garbage car,’ blah blah. He was livid. It was my car he was upset about. A Datsun 510. A hush fell over the room. He finally calmed down. What would he have thought if he found out the Japanese car was owned by a German? From then on, this German parked her Japanese car farther down.
Mr. Desinger’s analysis equating Palestinians and Hamas is like saying all Germans were or are Nazis. Should U.S. soldiers have killed all Germans during World War II? Children? Does the end justify the means? The Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip will have no education. No skills. What direction do you think they will take? I have no answers, but hating all Palestinians can’t be right.to submit via any web browser. Letters under 200 words have the best chance of being published.
