Post-tropical storm Lee wasn't expected to make landfall until early afternoon, in Nova Scotia, but its effects were felt early in New Brunswick.

At least two large trees in King's Square in uptown Saint John fell victim to post-tropical storm Lee on Saturday morning. This one blocks a walkway leading to the entrance of the City Market.Several downed trees have been reported, according to a release from the city. Crews are addressing the sites based on priority.People are also asked to keep garbage bags and carts inside over the weekend until at least Sunday evening.
