Tyra Edwards, 25, of Palmyra, was part of a group accused of firing multiple rounds at the home, which was struck 8 times, Upper Allen Police said.Tyra Edwards, 25, of Palmyra, is charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of children, and terroristic threats in connection to the alleged incident, which occurred on January 14 along the 1700 block of North Meadow Circle, police said.
Edwards had a previous relationship with one of the occupants of the home, who had previously obtained a Protection From Abuse Order against her, according to police. Prior to the shooting, the victim and his girlfriend were at a bar in Harrisburg when they encountered Edwards and a group of her friends, according to police. There was a confrontation, and Edwards and her associates made several verbal threats against the victim and his friends, police said. After the shooting, Edwards continued to send threatening messages to the victim and his family from various mobile devices, police claim.
