A federal class-action lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of U.S. citizen children of undocumented parents who were excluded from the $2 trillion federal coronavirus relief package.

Nicholas Katz, CASA's senior manager of legal services, said the way the CARES Act is being implemented runs counter to its promise.
