It's very exciting for up-and-coming artists like Rosalía, Sech, Lunay, Darell, Paulo Londra and Jhay Cortez to be nominated for the first time at the Latin American Music Awards, and they're all up for the once-in-a-lifetime award for new artist of the year.for the exclusive announcement via Twitter live stream.
The 2019 Latin AMAs nominees are based on key fan interactions with music, including sales, streaming and social activity, according to Billboard's analysis through their data allies Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound, covering the period from Aug. 10, 2018, to July 25, 2019. The awards will be broadcast live on Telemundo from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 8 p.m. ET.
