The centrepiece of the reforms, the bill giving the Knesset final say over judicial appointments, has been approved for a final vote that could come this week. If that happens, the protests are likely to continue. If Mr. Netanyahu delays that legislation or any of the other bills, it’s unclear what would happen, especially if it costs him the support of the far-right parties; without them, he would be vulnerable to another no-confidence motion like the one he survived on March 26.
