The latest Google Camera app hides radical new features
Following one of its regular ‘APK Insight’ investigations, the 9To5Google team exposed several new features currently lying dormant within the code of version 6.3 of Google Camera app, which has already broughtThe new features currently exist only as code fragments which are yet to be implemented or perhaps never will be. However, the code provides a valuable insight into features Google is considering for future release.
It’s good to see Google continually innovating with new camera features, although I worry sometimes that telling people exactly how to hold their camera when taking a photo will potentially stifle creativity, leading to everyone’s photos looking the same. I expect further photography related functions related to the Pixel 4 to reveal themselves as we get closer to launch.
