Last of Us, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman returns for August comedy festival yyc
Offerman filmed HBO’s The Last of Us in Alberta. He played the survivalist Bill in the acclaimed third episode of The Last of Us, which was largely filmed in High River. The series was shot throughout Alberta from July 2021 to June 2022. He has also written four semi-autobiographical books, including Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man’s Fundamentals for Delicious Living and Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America’s Gutsiest Troublemakers. His comedy show is described as “a night of deliberative talking, mirth and music. “When Offerman was filming Fargo, he did a comedy set at the open-mic comedy night at Broken City.
