El primer programa de prácticas cívicas de verano de San Diego ofreció a 125 jóvenes de San Diego un vistazo tras bambalinas de lo que podría ser el servicio público como opción profesional.
“La ciudad de San Diego se ha comprometido a ofrecer oportunidades laborales remuneradas a los jóvenes para ayudarles a poner en marcha su pasión por el servicio público”, dijo Julie Pérez-Rasco, directora de recursos humanos de la ciudad. Las prácticas, dijo, “proporcionan a los jóvenes de San Diego las herramientas que necesitan para construir una carrera”.
