Chris McCann .jpgLancaster firefighter Chris McCann has died from injuries sustained from a motorcycle crash that occurred in September, according to the Lancaster Professional Firefighters.
The firefighter had gotten into a motorcycle accident on his way to work on Sept. 28. After the crash, McCann was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.that was started to help McCann's family cover his medical costs is still live and receiving donations. According to the GoFundMe, McCann was given a 1 percent chance of survival on the day of the accident.
According to the Facebook post, McCann started his service with the The Lancaster Professional Firefighters on Dec. 27, 2013. During his time in the department, he worked as Platoon Man, Second Driver and First Driver.
