Lamar Jackson apologized on Friday for the vulgar tweet he sent following Sunday's loss.

"Boy STFU y'all be cappin too much on this app mf never smelt a football field," he said ... before ending the tweet with,"never did s*** but eat a d***."said he spoke to Jackson over it all on Monday ... and called it"out of character for him."Jackson said he deleted the tweet, which remained on his page for about 3 hours, after his girlfriend encouraged him to take it down.
