Meet regularly with the appropriate union officers, department managers as well and the HR Business Partners to ensure that administrative requirements within the collective agreements are fulfilled and to address deficiencies as required. Conduct investigations, summarize findings, and recommend and implement solutions related to formal complaints consistent with procedural requirements in collective agreements and relevant employment legislation.
Partner with client groups on various HR processes such as workplace redesign, organizational structure, lines of sequence, scheduling, health and safety.Assist in contract negotiations by researching issues and providing relevant information and support throughout the process. Develop bargaining proposals in real time as disputes arise.
