Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Shanahan said that Bosa is a meticulous player who focuses on the details of his everyday life as it relates to his on-field performance. This includes thinking about how a walk to get some food will affect him on any given Sunday, apparently. "He thinks about whether he wants to go out to dinner and how much inflammation that’ll cause walking there and how that’ll affect his explosion on clip 62 in the game,"."That guy obsesses over every little detail, and that’s why he’s as prepared as anyone I’ve been around. To me, I’ve said a lot, I feel like he’s been preparing for what his job in life is to do since he was 3 years old. It’s a combination of all those things that makes him one of the best.
This comes just two days after Bosa publicly encouraged his teammates to do basically nothing from now until the end of the postseason, a relaxed approach that he’s gotten into. Afterfollowing Sunday’s win that he’s “been a hermit for quite some time,” Bosa outlined the ideal schedule for his teammates after practice.
"I sit on my couch, I fill my Game Ready machine with ice, and I prop my legs up and watch some shows,"While the playoffs might be a primary motivator for such an approach, Bosa may have also gotten some help committing to the"hermit" lifestyle when his former girlfriend
