With Western military aid flowing into Ukraine, a Pentagon official said Russia’s assault on the Donbas is meeting strong resistance.

At the Pentagon, spokesman John Kirby said that the U.S. military has begun training Ukrainian troops on the newly-arriving weaponry, including howitzer 155mm artillery and counter-artillery radar.
