Korey Kuppe aims to become the face of the Professional Fighters League middleweight division and wants to make a statement in his next assignment.
Kuppe is currently having a great fight week ahead of his clash withat PFL 9: 2023 Playoffs on Aug. 23. The Macomb Martial arts standout is set for a 185-pound clash as the PFL is apparently looking to add middleweight to its offer, one of the last missing weight divisions from the Regular Season. While talking with Sherdog, Kuppe confessed he accepted the fight at 185 pounds because he believes he can perform better at middleweight due to his cardio and speed.
“I have a good opponent, but I also think that I've acquired a lot of experience. I've gone through some letdowns when I was already pretty good, and that pushed me to the next level. You're gonna see some red, white, and blue American firepower going right through around. If you watch my fights, people don't make it past a couple striking exchanges with me without f—ing shooting for their life or f—ing pulling up in a ball and saying that's all she wrote.
