Netflix has officially renewed the hit KDrama SweetHome for seasons 2 AND 3 👀🙌
The apocalyptic South Korean horror series Sweet Home has been renewed seasons 2 and 3 at Netflix. Debuting on the streaming service in December 2020, Sweet Home is based on the webtoon of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan. It tells the story of a high school student that leaves home following an unexpected family tragedy. And, soon after, people begin to turn into savage monsters.
According to THR, Netflix has renewed Sweet Home for seasons 2 and 3. The two upcoming installments, with director Lee Eung-bok returning behind the camera, will be produced back-to-back. In statements shedding light on what to expect, Lee notes that Sweet Home season 2 will include a new setting, while it’s expected that new episodes will also benefit from a larger budget and higher production value. Lee likewise shares that, in the future, the series will refine some of its technical details.
