Fostering trade partnerships with Japan and Korea is more critical than ever as Canada’s foreign relations with China and India remain icy following years of rising diplomatic tensions, said the President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce as significant trade meetings approach. Ahead of major trade meetings in both Korea and Japan, president and CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Perrin Beatty spoke toOver the next week, Beatty is participating in meetings with Canadian delegates and their Korean counterparts as part of the Canada-Korea Forum, of which Marc Garneau, former Liberal Foreign Affairs Minister, is the incoming Canadian co-chair.
