Often, the word ‘knitting’ evokes images and memories of our elders in a rocking chair, crafting the newest, love-filled thing for wearing or using.
“I recently made a few stuffed animals, including a doll and a Baby Yoda toy, for my niece. They came together so quickly and were so fun to knit. I could imagine them having them for a long time, without them growing out of it, which is nice!”“My first project after a beginner’s scarf was a tank top, made from cotton! I didn’t understand how to size it properly, so it never really fit. But I was really proud of it, and loved wearing it, despite it being too big!” she said.
“I highly recommend books, because many people want to take up knitting to spend less time online! But it’s great to know there’s always videos online that can help you if you’re struggling,” she said. “I really like that it’s portable, and can be done socially, while talking others. I’ve started spending time with friends doing a variety of crafts and have had friends take an interest and learn with me!” she said.Knitting also offers Beretta to broaden her horizons and learn about other countries and cultures. Knitting is a common thread throughout the world.
