London, Ont. - The London Knights earned their 15th consecutive victory with a 2-1 shootout win against the Ottawa 67's on Nov. 24, 2024 at Canada Life Place. Goaltender Austin Elliott was the star of the show, making 29 saves in regulation and stopping four of five shooters in the shootout to improve to 9-0 on the season. The win moved the Knights two points ahead of the Windsor Spitfires for the top spot in the Ontario Hockey League standings.
London was missing four players due to injuries and suspensions; Kasper Halttunen and Ryder Boulton both received five-minute major penalties and game misconducts for plays that will be reviewed by the league. Denver Barkey and Easton Cowan were also held out with minor aches and pains. The Knights' opening goal came from Logan Hawery, assisted by Rene Van Bommel in the first period. Ottawa tied the game with 6:49 remaining in regulation time when Will Gerrior scored from close range
