.weareKLOUD bursts into a cinematic sci-fi world with ExitAlive video
How do you know when your A.I. has become sentient? In the case of the Kloud corporation, it's when said A.I. breaks through its holding cell and blasts filter-bass dubstep in the evil scientists' faces., we love a good fictional backstory, and this emergent masked producer has a good one. The "Exit Alive" video tells an origin story rife with dystopia and deception.
Previously released singles are meant to show this growing tension, and in "Exit Alive," Kloud finally breaks through mental and physical barriers to overwhelm his devious creators. The video is highly cinematic with stark use white walls and the high-contrast blacks of Kloud's figure. There are some sexy robot ladies swimming around in pills, which seems to be a metaphor for all this mind control.
This is only the beginning of Kloud's story. More music videos are on the way as Kloud continues to explore his strange, technological world. Stay tuned for what's to come, and check out the striking video for "Exit Alive" below.
