Hence, his Ministry through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission will be holding discussions with the companies to identify and agree on solutions. As reported by Bernama, Fahmi revealed that he had previously stressed to MCMC that network sharing and quality of internet access to be resolved by June 2023.
Furthermore, the KKD Minister asserted that telco companies are willing to cooperate based on his previous discussions with them. Fahmi also confirmed that KKD will be striving for broadband wireless access which uses technologies such as satellite to provide coverage in rural areas or areas that are restricted by their geographical location.
