Kite has seen a significant price increase over the past 24 hours, driven by protocol updates and a recovery in market sentiment. The protocol has also implemented a wallet update that reduces the risk of lost funds during transfers.
Kite has pushed higher over the past 24 hours, a run that followed a series of protocol-level updates and reawakened buyer interest as broader market sentiment recovers.
Kite's decision to take an internal tool offline to reduce the protocol's attack surface, a process the team refers to as hardening. The change kept the protocol down for 28 minutes before full service returned, and community reaction stayed largely moderate. The protocol also shipped a wallet 'Receive' update that now lists every token the network accepts, cutting the risk of lost funds during transfers. Volume analysis puts trading activity at $22.11 million, up 3% over the past 24 hours.
News of the updates drove KITE sharply higher after the token broke out of a descending triangle pattern. The surge carried the asset to a key resistance level at $0.103, where price met a slight negative reaction. This level had already failed to hold as support on a second test, and the zone could now push KITE back toward lower levels.
The Parabolic Stop and Reverse (SAR) tracks bullish and bearish pressure through the placement of its dots above or below price. At press time, that dot sat below KITE's price, pointing to building buying momentum that could sustain a short-term run. The standout upside targets sit where price clears the channel's descending resistance line, around the $0.13 and $0.14 area. The Money Flow Index, a gauge of capital moving in and out of the market, also reads bullish for KITE.
The MFI has climbed to 67.87 as of writing, a sign investors are actively rotating capital into the asset. Notably, the MACD line in blue and the signal line in orange have both crossed into positive territory, suggesting KITE stands a strong chance of extending its upward move and holding that pace. For now, KITE leans to the upside, provided it clears the $0.103 resistance and holds sustained upward momentum.
The MFI at 67.87 and a positive MACD crossover both point to capital rotating into KITE
