Kitchener man pleads guilty to threatening Trudeau via wr_record
KITCHENER — A Kitchener man has pleaded guilty to threatening Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a raucous campaign stop in Cambridge last year.
Waterloo Regional Police previously said they began an investigation into alleged threats made toward Liberal leader Trudeau during an“The alleged threats were verbal in nature and relate to a live video that was posted on social media threatening harm and/or death to the prime minister,” police said when they charged the man.
“Justin Castro!” shouted protesters, alluding to a conspiracy theory that falsely claims Justin is the son of Communist leader Fidel.Protesters seemed most angry with vaccine passports and the Liberal push for mandatory vaccines in some settings.
