By now, every American should know that our president looks up to the despots of the world. It’s not just his friends from Russia, Saudi Arabia and North Korea — he has also displayed admiration for other, lesser-known illiberal leaders. Our country is being constantly embarrassed while Trump and his family are in it to get as much of whatever is available while the getting is good. Does anyone in his or her right mind really want him around for another four years?The leaders of South Korea, China, Japan and Australia have all praised Trump for his progress in reducing tensions on the Korean peninsula and in the region and are very pleased with his recent meeting with Kim Jong Un in North Korea.

But, many of the “experts” quoted by the L.A. Times disagree.
