The foundation’s board and the CEO all resigned, but not because of “completely unfounded and ungrounded attacks.” Nope. Nor did they all quit, as the foundation itself claimed — in a press statement that was as full of self-pity as it was devoid of self-awareness — because the “political climate … has put a great deal of pressure on the foundation’s management and volunteer board of directors, as well as on our staff and our community.”
