Kingston, Ont. police investigating shooting near Collins Bay penitentiary

One man is in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries as Kingston Police are investigating a shooting in the area of Bath Road and Centennial Drive on Friday.

According to Frontenac Paramedic Services, two crews responded to the scene. One male patient, in their early 30s, was transported to Kingston Health Sciences Centre with serious life-threatening injuries from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics say they are in critical condition. According to police, the suspect’s vehicle is described as a grey Honda Civic and occupied by several armed black males last seen fleeing from the scene travelling northbound on Centennial Dr from Bath Rd.Read more:Story continues below advertisement

At the scene of a shooting that took place this afternoon at Bath and Centennial. A witness told me that he saw someone get out of their car with a handgun and fire shots. More to come on
