The Los Angeles Kings signed goaltender Jack Campbell to a two-year contract extension worth $3.3 million, the team announced Saturday. Campbell’s contract will go into effect at the start of the 2020-21 season. It carries an average annual value of $1.65 million. The 27-year-old Campbell posted a 10-14-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.30 goals-against average and .928 save percentage in 33 games last season. His save percentage was third-best among goaltenders who appeared in at least 25 games in 2018-19.
Campbell has a 12-15-3 mark with two shutouts, a 2.41 goals-against average and .925 save percentage in 38 career games with the Dallas Stars and Kings .The Stars drafted Campbell with the 11th overall pick of the 2010 NHL Draft.
