The breaks are suddenly going the Warriors' way.
Kings guard De'Aaron Fox has a broken finger and will be doubtful for Wednesday night's Game 5 in Sacramento, according toFox, who has been stellar for the Kings this series"fractured the very tip of his left index finger" late in Game 4,report."There's still some hope" Fox could play with a covering, Adrian Wojnarowski said on ESPN Monday afternoon.
Fox may have injured his shooting hand after the whistle on a play late in the fourth quarter of Game 4.He had seven of his 38 after that point, including a huge three-pointer to draw the Kings within one with 27 seconds left. Fox has been the leader of the Kings' resurgence this year, winning the league's first-ever"Clutch Player of the Year" award last week. He's averaged 31.5 points per game in the four games against the Warriors.
Fox is easily the Kings' best player and has been debatably the best player in the series other than Steph Curry. No other Sacramento starter is averaging more than 16 points in the series, with Malik Monk adding 17 a game off the bench.
