“It’s so important just to start the first and second half off strong and with momentum,” Calabasas coach Cary Harris said. “You have to have that urgency to execute off the bat. Once you have that confidence you can kind of roll from there.” The Coyotes were equally dominant through the air on Friday night, led by junior quarterback Alonzo Contreras in his Calabasas debut after transferring from Sierra Canyon. He was incredibly accurate, completing 14 of 16 passes for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He added a 1-yard rushing touchdown
Butler piled up a whopping 172 yards on the four catches. He had touchdown catches of 65 and 58 yards, and nearly added a third stepping out at the 1-yard line on another long reception.
