The 40-year-old single mother was shot to death outside a duplex on Arncote Avenue in Langford on the evening of March 6, 2020, by a man she had never met. Anthony Dheensaw, 38, has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Dalman and to the attempted murder of Derrick Oke. Crown and defence have made a joint submission to sentence Dheensaw to life in prison with no eligibility of parole for 14 years.
