Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Yusei Kikuchi's reputation for enjoying a good time continues to follow him after signing with the Los Angeles Angels. Photos shared by Yu Darvish depict Kikuchi in an inebriated state, highlighting his fondness for whisky and celebratory revelry.
When Yusei Kikuchi was with the Toronto Blue Jays , he quickly gained the affection of the local fans. While he had solid statistics during his three-year tenure in Toronto, it was his time off the field that often solidified his popularity. Kikuchi was known for his jovial nature, frequently sharing stories about his life in Toronto. He particularly enjoyed whisky, often celebrating his victories with expensive bottles of Yamazaki.
Recently, fellow Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish shared some humorous, albeit slightly embarrassing, photos of an intoxicated Kikuchi on social media. Darvish recounted a dinner gathering with Kikuchi and his wife during their vacation, where Kikuchi consumed most of the Hibiki whisky he brought. He eventually passed out drunk, requiring him to stay the night. Kikuchi has since signed with the Los Angeles Angels, who will visit Toronto from July 4 to 6 this summer
