KIRK STARRATTKENTVILLE, N.S. — The Kentville Salvation Army is hoping for more donations and more volunteers as its 2022 Christmas Kettle Campaign winds down.
“The funds that we raise not only helps at Christmas time but helps families throughout the year,” MacLeod said.At Christmas, the Salvation Army provides food and toy hampers to families in need. The church is also involved in community outreach efforts at other times, providing emergency financial assistance and sending kids to summer camp, for example.
