Kentucky woman claiming she shot Uber driver fearing she was kidnapped, charged with murder
Phoebe Copas was charged with murder after she allegedly shot her Uber driver who she mistakenly thought was kidnapping her and taking her to Mexico.
Piedra’s vehicle came to a stop after crashing into barriers on a freeway, though it was not close to a bridge or port of entry into Mexico.
