Breweries in North Vancouver and Whistler also won awards

Held in Las Vegas on April 24, the annual event is one of the largest beer competitions in the world and is hosted by the Brewers Association . At the event, awards are handed to the best beers over 110 categories. This year, 2,060 breweries across 50 countries were represented as a panel of 280 judges evaluated 9,300 entries.

In the historical beer category, Kelowna’s Jackknife Brewing won silver with their Hunting Lodge, a Juniper Nordic lager.
