The actor said that she felt “overwhelmed and gagged” by the whole ordeal.
Palmer opened up about motherhood and key moments in her career, including the gig she credits with making her truly feel like a “celebrity.”
“I would have to say probably when I did ‘True Jackson, VP,‘” Palmer said. “When I did ‘True Jackson, VP,’ everything changed.”Before she began starring in the Nickelodeon sitcom, which first aired in 2008, Palmer was a seasoned child actor, starring in films like “Akeelah and the Bee” and Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Family Reunion.” But a seemingly a casual visit to Universal Studios that served as her “a-ha” moment.
“I was just going and hanging out,” Palmer remembers. Then, in an instant, while with family, “a hundred” people swarmed them. In that surreal moment, Palmer realized life would never be the same. She later said that she felt “overwhelmed and gagged” by the whole ordeal.. She told Hudson that her son has “given her new life,” and lovingly shared that he is “coming into his personality” and has already started mimicking her mannerisms.
The “One of Them Days” star also discussed her family’s legacy of having twins. Both of her parents are twins, and she has twin siblings, as well.The next four years will change America forever.
